Additional services include cylinder overhaul, boroscope inspection and connecting rod bush boring. CYLINDER OVERHAUL: During overhaul all aspects of your cylinder are taken into account. Your cylinder is thoroughly inspected for cracks, visual defects and dimensional conformance. If necessary and dimensions permitting your cylinder will be re bored to oversize and honed. Other cylinder repairs carried out at our facility include spot facing, valve guide replacement, valve seat cutting, valve face grinding, honing and stud replacement. BOROSCOPE: Boroscope inspection can be carried out locally on your engine to assess the condition of your cylinders internally without having to remove them. CONNECTING ROD BUSH BORING: After fitment of new bushes to your connecting rods, these bushes are precisely machined on our boring machine to the exact size required. |
