Engine Shop

In the engine shop we carry out overhaul and repairs to all Lycoming and
Continental piston engines. With over 75 years of combined experience in
the business we pride ourselves in being capable of producing a product of
the highest quality, this pride and confidence is reflected in the 800 hour or
2 year warranty issued with all overhauled engines.

All work carried out at overhaul is to new specifications, with all A.D.'s,
S.B.'s and S.I.'s being checked and embodied as applicable, we also offer
new O.E.M. or new millennium cylinders. Prior to assembly all engine
components are balanced as well as the hydraulic lifters being subjected to
a bleed down rate test and then balanceed on assembly to the engine. If
necessary your crankcase, crankshaft and connecting rods can be
reconditioned. If you choosse and condition permitting, your own cylinders

At overhaul a new H.T. harness will be fitted and you will have the choice of
either new or overhauled magneto's, starter and alternator.

All engine hoses will be manufactured at overhaul, these hoses will be
pressure tested, serialized and dated, all records of which will be kept on
our register.

All export engines are test bench run before being dispatched.

Apart from our normal records and work packs, we also have a unique
system for parts traceability, re assuring the serviceability of parts fitted to
your engine.
